I went to the Nashville UFC event last night and had a good time. There were some good and exciting fights. When Griffin got out of that leg compression the crowd went wild. Cole Miller's yell to Junie Browning of "Who is overated now, was awesome," especially after a submission only two minutes in.
I was apperently sitting by the greatest single BJJ fighter ever. He knew what every fighter should do, called them out on it when the didn't and stated his disbelief anytime anyone countered a hold. I assume that the UFC has banned him from competition so he wouldn't just dominate the sport. A shame really.
It was a pretty good crowd and hopefully we will get more UFC in Nashville in the future.
