Sunday, I volunteered as an extra for a super low budget zombie movie called Dead Start. I showed up at 7AM and had my makeup done by about 10AM. I would say that everyone was in makeup by 11AM. So we sat around in the sun waiting for the zombie horde scene while they filmed other scenes. A pizza place donated 25 pizzas but there were people that showed up as exras and people were grabbing two slices, so that didn't feed many people. Around 2pm, the hundred or so people that hadn't given up and gone home, finally filmed the zombie horde scene. I received two bottles of water and a sunburn for my troubles. I guess I will buy the DVD when it comes out and see if I can locate myself. There were some strange folk out there and it was a great people watching experience. I also met some pretty cool folks waiting around in line.

Budd - you have to be a little more careful shaving.
I know right. This is how I look every morning.
Awesome. Water and a little pizza -- didn't they know you need BRAINS!!!
Wow, long day. Good for you for sticking around. Looks like it would have been fun.
Unfortunately I missed out on the pizza. Some brains might have been nice.
At one point I was ready to leave, but I realized that then my whole day and my sunburn would have been for nothing.
