The Samurai Burger

I have made this for friends on several occasions.  It is your normal burger patty sprinkled with garlic.  Top it with cheddar cheese.  The secret to this burger is the sauce.  Take some Mayo and put it into a small bowl, then add some wasabi.  If you are against mayo, you can try it with mustard but the mayo is the way to go.  Serve on bun, I suggest sour dough.  I wouldn't top it with much more than lettuce.  The cheddar is a must.  It sets of the wasabi in the perfect flavor combination.  Cook one up this weekend and let me know what you think.

That's a great idea! I love wasabi-mayo (we made some for fish-cakes a little while ago) -- I never thought to apply it to a burger.
