ranked by plausibility.
1) Claires real dad is actually. . . . her adopted father.
2) The scar that Hiro referenced on Nathan comes from the explosion.
3) The explosion will happen because everything that Isaac has painted has come to pass regardless of how people interfere.
4) Hiro's dad is Linderman, or is at the very least, connected to him strongly.
5) Claire's mom is the little girl from Fire Starter.
What are your theories or reactions to mine?

good god, budd. you crack me up.i definitely agree with most of your theories. i've also mentioned it before that the explosion will happen, and i still have a feeling that nathan will save the world and peter will die. not happy about that since peter's been my favorite character since day one.not sure about linderman being hiro's dad. i think it's too early to tell but i'm with you that there's a strong connection. speaking of which, did anyone pick up on invisible guy and his possible connections to "others" on the show? did he mentioned something about training or killing other people like peter?the cockroach in sylar's room helped save his life. i've seen how roaches are masters at playing dead; they're almost indestructible--i've heard about science expriments where roaches have survived after few minutes in a microwave oven.if claire's mom is fire starter, why on earth doesn't claire have that trait? and who is claire's father? there was the focus on the watch at the end, which makes me think sylar and claire are connected somehow. hmm...
My wife likes this show. I watched last night, but as I've only caught bits and pieces so far, I felt pretty lost....
How awesome would it have been if they actually casted Drew Barrymore as Claire's mother, rather than "Gina" from Nip/Tuck?!I definitely like your first theory. It's so simple, yet so possible.
Cece...DL and Nikki birthed a child who has a completely different power then the both of them...so it makes sense that claire doesen't have the trait
Gaaah I meant Gamany [just had a brain fart my bad]
