i just read the 2nd dexter book. it was pretty darn good :D but i'm not sure if i would be as into it if i hadn't watched the first season of dexter...
I just finished Mao: The Untold Story, by Jung Chang, who also wrote a fantastic book called Wild Swans. The Mao book was fantastic in terms of revealing Mao, his inner-circle, and his murderous cult of personality. However, the endless details of troop movement and military shenanigans were tedious in the extreme. Still, I'd recommend.
I have an English Degree with a minor in Asian Studies. I write for Scifi Media and also have a column, "Punching Myself in the Face," on PracticalBlackBelt.com. I like science fiction, martial arts, literature, motorcycles, and Asian culture.
