I Won a Contest!

I will plug where I won it from.  I won it from Sci-Fi Dig, a podcast I listen to.  The prize was:

I was actually entertained. The male actors actually pulled off some decent acting and I suspect the female actors would also had they not hired eye candy for the entire female cast. Sure the plot is reminds you of countless other movies but most movies plots do. The special effects suffered from this films, obviously, very low budget. You can't blame the company for not being able to pump 100 million into a movie for special effects though.

Overall the movie is better than any Sci-Fi Channel original movie. It is also better than anything Uwe Boll has done. At least the actors (even the bad ones) tried to give inspired performances. Sci-Fi Channel should pick this up.

You can't blame them for the similar name usage based around a huge blockbuster movie. I knew that it didn't have anything to do with Transformers, but the name catches you and makes you pick up the case and read the back cover. It was actually a smart move marketing wise.
