And the lie is. . .

I was not an extra in Dawn of the Dead.

I met Johnny Cash on a flight from Atlanta to Nashville.  I was flying as an unacompanied minor from Mobile, AL.  So, they kept me on the plane and gave me peanuts and a soda while the plane was restocked and cleaned.  They then proceeded to board there very special passenger for the day.  As an unacompanied minor, I was in the first row of coach.  Mr. Cash was in the final row of first class.  I asked the stewardess if it would be okay if I met him and got his autograph and she asked.  He said it was okay, signed the autograph and made some small talke about where I was going and why.  He was really cool.

I was in Korea at a theme park called Everland.  The day that I went was the day that Micheal Jackson was playing a concert in Seoul (he is huge in Korea).  He stopped by Everland for some publicity and walked through the park.  He was surrounded by a security detail that were all holding hands keeping people away.  I had my camera and thought I should get a picture.  I am in a huge crowd of people, so I start pushing forward (this is not considered rude in Korea).  I am looking through my camera and not watching were I am going, and I break the chain.  I guess the security guy wasn't looking at me either because he was knocked off balance.  I got the picture.  I wish I had a scanner so I could scan it in for ya'll.

I didn't like it at first, but then I got used to it.
It was 1999 when I was there and he was huge.

Really cool. Some security detail if they can't even keep the regular fans at bay. I was actually hoping that your duties as an extra in Dawn of the Dead included kicking the ass of some guy who turned out to be one of Michael Jackson's bodyguards, but this is almost as good. The Johnny Cash story is pretty cool...I've never met anyone famous like that...

I guessing the Everland one is the lie.

I'm glad it wasn't the zombie thing. I hate zombies. They scare me.

Ross-it was the outside perimeter. There were several layers of security left.
Ender-that is why zombies are cool, because they are scary. I would suggest the book, Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks.

oh, we have that, yes: and World War Z is quite a fave, too.Ender keeps talkin' about getting a Boomstick for the house, as it is a preferred method of zombie control, doubling as a club when the ammo runs out.'cause you know that they are coming. someday.

We will have to organize the Nashville survivor's group. I will start reading up on generator repair.
