Needed: Cat Training School

This morning, as I was getting out of the shower, I noticed that the Towel Fairy had struck.  My towel had once again been prematurely removed from the bathroom.  My cat, Chopstick, had followed me into the bathroom (I think she likes the steam)  that morning so I reached out to her for help.  I pleaded for her to go get me a towel.  I tried it in English and I even tried to meow it.  All to no avail.  The only thing I got was the look that said, "Why on Earth did you just do that to yourself?  The water was hitting you and now your all wet.  Why aren't you licking yourself dry?"  When I finally got my towel, I showed it to Chopstick.  I told her it was a towel and that when I ask for one she should grab it with her teeth and bring it to me.  She just walked away.

well, you should know better now, no? you should just check before you get in the shower. ;P tee hee! i kid. we totally reuse towels all the time. to be honest, i think that if your wife's gonna take the towel away, she should at least put a replacement towel there. just my opinion, anyway.

Just give it time. The cat will catch on one day.

With my luck the cat would roll in the towel or pee on it before bringing it to me.
Good luck with that towel thing. I've learned to check before I get in the shower.

HA! maybe she's holding a grudge against you for letting her runaway a few months ago.

I feel your pain. Have you tried hiding a towel in a place the towel fairy may be less likely to find it? I suggest behind the door. I mean, how often do you see the back of a door? Basically never.

Put some catnip on it. She might bring it to you then. Or she might latch onto your leg with her teeth as you're getting out of the shower. Hard to say.
