So, Sunday night I let the girls watch Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. They got into it quickly. They loved the ant that the children befriend in the yard. They both cry upon (spoiler alert, really is this necessary, the movie is old) the ants death at the hands (claws) of the scorpion. One last parting shot for those of you that remember this movie. Oh, French class, I get it.
Next on the list is Time Bandits. I vaguely remembered this one from when I was a child, so I picked it up at the library. This movie has every famous Brit up to that point in history having something to do with the film. George Harrison produced, monty python was in attendance, Sean Connery was in it, and rumor has it that Henry the VIII haunted the set(not really but I did say history). The movie was good, but the children's attention wained.
Last but no least, some adult fare from yesteryear. A Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum was on last night. This movie is hillarious. Zero Mastel was a genius. I have seen it before and enjoyed watching it again and not just for Licus' wares either. This movie is the ultimate farce.
