I beat Resident Evil 4 on the Wii last week and played through Assignment Ada and Seperate Ways since. This game was a lot of fun and has lots of extras after you beat it. It is also a great value. My complete review is over at SciFi Media.

Gunfire and Explosions
That was a tough question.
Gunfire and Explosions
I was playing Resident Evil 4 last night, when my wife told me that the gunfire and explosions were giving her a headache. I gave in and turned off the Wii. I then put in a movie. Unfortunately the movie was more of the same. My wife looked at me and asked if I was entertained by anything other than gunfire and explosions.
That was a tough question.

Nintendo 3DS
Yesterday, I watched the Nintendo Channels coverage of the 3DS. I was watching with my 9 year old. This thing looks completely awesome. It has more adult games coming out for it, the slide controller is an excellent addition, it has an accelerometer, you can take 3D pictures, you don't need glasses for 3D, You can control how 3D you want it to be, and the list goes on.
I have to say that I am a huge fan of the Nintendo systems. They are always a lot of fun to play. They usually attempt to be cutting edge in all areas except graphics. I think the 3DS may have better graphics than the Wii though. It is at least equal to the PSP. The Nintendo systems are always very durable too. I can't tell you how many time Ashli dropped her DS and the thing is still going strong.
Nintendo has done it again. They have created an item that is desired not only by my child but by myself also. Unfortunately, this thing will likely have a $200 price tag. That isn't including 3D games to get the most functionality out of it. It will still play normal DS games, but I have 3 systems that will do so in the house right now. It will be a hard sell for the wife, especially since we bought the DSIs just last December.
