- If so, how many times have you read it? Just once? Or so many you can't count? I have read the Lord of the Rings twice and The Hobbit three times.
- If not, why not? Not your cup of tea? Oh, I have.
- And, while we're on the subject, did you see the Oscar-winning movie(s)? What did you think? Yes, they were enjoyable. They seemed to capture the most important aspects in each movie. They threw alot of detail in that only readers would pick up on. I think Peter Jackson did the books justice. One of the best adaptations I have seen.

If not, why not? Not your cup of tea? it is my cup of tea which is why I am hooked on tolkien's heir. George RR Martin.
And, while we're on the subject, did you see the Oscar-winning movie(s)? What did you think? Excellent job- the world Tolkien created was so huge- they did a nice job of choosing the ring story line and sticking to it.
