Clifton reaches for the snooze button and knocks over the glass of water that he had sat down the night before. The quick splash of water over his face and all over his pillow ensures that he won't be going back to sleep. Probably for the best. The interview is today and he doesn't want to be late for that. His first real job after college. It has only taken him six months. Another benifit: He can sneak. . . whatever her name is out before his parents wake up.
Clifton can feel it. It is going to be a good day.
